I had a Good Day.

My birthday turned out to be a very good day. I was pleasantly surprised all day. From being treated to lunch to the gift that some of my tenants bought me. I received beautiful birthday wishes from my friends (there was one that started off good but then he went to the left with the picture, lol). My night ended with my friend buying me dinner and some damn good sex!!! ( I can't express that enough, lol) I literally haven't felt this happy in a very long time. I am learning how to love me again.


Even though my job celebrates birthday regardless if they like you or not, mines was different. My personality is so different than every one else there, that it was actually like a party. It's funny how we have the power to turn things our way even when people are evil. They didn't have any control over the fun they were having, it was too funny. That was a sign to me, that I have the power to turn my situations around.


My daughter told me that she has noticed how happy I've been. She says she is happy to see me happy. That meant so much to me. For her to notice is a hugh step by itself. This is the poem she wrote me:

We may have our difference that would tear us apart

that put us aside straight from the start

but you're my mother and the love that I have for you will never stray

because I could't imagined doing what you do every day

So today, on your day it might take a while but,

imma do everything to make you smile.

I am so happy to be alive at 35 years old. There are so many people I know that did not make it.
