The Devil is a Lie!!!!

The devil was busy yesterday! I am still shocked at what has happened. The apartment complex where I currently lived decided that they wanted to stop me from moving. So let me try to break this down for you(this will be hard because I am still up set).

Misti is the assistant manager at my current apartment complex. I have not had much interaction with her but we had an issue when she over stepped her bounds and told my daughter something that was discussed between adults. I spoke to her manager about it and left it at that. After that she had a big problem with me. Yesterday I was suppose to go sign the lease on the new apartment. Something told me to call and make sure everything was set for that afternoon. When I called and spoke with one of the girls she said that my apartment complex had called them and told them that I owed allot of money and I was getting evicted. WFT!!! I immediately called Misti and asked what is going on. She stated that I had not paid rent for this month, yes the hell I did!! Then she said you didn't pay rent for last month, yes the hell I did!! I explained to her that I did (I always pay my rent, mommy don't play that)she stated well we don't have it and I filed an eviction against you even though your not going to be here anymore and it is going to go on your credit. By now I am pissed but still being professional I said I have paid rent I have my receipts and I will provide them to you. She got an attitude and said well I have to go, I have a resident in the office. As soon as I hung up I called my new apartment and told them what I found out. As soon as I said that the girl was like my manager is talking to your apartment manager now, she just called us. This bitch turned right around and called my new apartment back. She is really trying to mess me up. I instantly went on line and printed off all of my rental payments, I don't write checks to pay rent, I get a certified bank check each month don't play with me! I called Misti to get the fax number and she wouldn't answer the phone. I called and called, so I called the new apartment and explained that she is not answering the phone. They didn't understand what was going on and why Misti was acting like this. So after 2 hours she still wouldn't answer the phone. My co worker decided she was going to call from her cell phone. Well guess what she answered! My co worker proceed to say:

This is Mrs.X from the Texas Real Estate Commission

I am calling on behalf of Mommy with a Purpose.

She has notified us that their was a suit filed against her for non payment of rent.

She has provided us with the proof of payment, she says she has been trying to reach you but you will not answer the phone. If the suit is not dropped we file a complaint and this matter will go to court.

Trust me when I tell you we got a quick response. She told my co worker that she received the verifications and that the suit would be dropped. Then she asked my co worker if she could have me call her(now you want to talk to me, whatever). I didn't call back right away, I took me about 45min. When I finally called her she said that she received everything and what had happen was: I have some fees that has added up over the years and it looked like I didn't pay rent(still some bullshit). She asked me if I wanted her to fax the ledger over to me that shows all of that, of course I said and gave her the fax number. I received the fax and saw what she was referring to, but don't play I'm covered I have all my receipts. So I called my new apartments to see what was going on. Oh your good, the apartment is yours. THE DEVIL IS A LIE!!!! HA!

When I got to the new apartment complex I spoke with the manager about what was going on and she said that she had faxed her my ledger (which she is not suppose to do, that is confidential information). The manager proceeded to say that I had gotten a good rental verification and then this girl calls this morning saying that you owed all of this money and they were evicting you. We had already approved you and she made herself look bad, is that how they do business over there. She said that Misti kept calling her back trying to send things to her. I just sat there in amazement, why did I have to go through all of this. When you have God on your side, you will prevail!! I have signed my leased and here are pictures of my new spot!!!!

I have a Whirlpool tub, I can't wait it get in it!
My closet is huge, I couldn't take a picture of the whole thing.

I am all set to move in. Don't play with me! Unfortunately when you have haters trying to stop you things like this happen. But just know they are never smart enough to accomplish what they set out to do. I will be moving when I return from Hawaii!
